I met Mr Ahmed in June 2011, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Mr Ahmed operated on me and I have been under his care since then for my annual check-ups. Mr Ahmed is without doubt a highly skilled surgeon who is both very knowledgeable and approachable. Furthermore, his warm and friendly approach and the kindness and compassion that he shows puts patients at ease. Mr Ahmed recently gave me the happy news of my five year “all clear”. I will never forget all that was done for me by Mr Ahmed and his team and I consider myself very fortunate to have been under his care. He is a real asset to the NHS.

Mr Ahmed is a very professional, kind and approachable person. Through a difficult and worrying experience, Mr Ahmed gave me his upmost attention and relayed any information and advice in a clear and easy to understand manner. What was most important was that he made me feel able to ask anything I needed to, I did not feel under pressure to keep to a 'time slot', which when you are understandably worried and anxious, is so important. I felt he was listening to me and saw me as an individual. I trusted his knowledge base and him. I am very grateful.

From the moment I met Mr Farid he put me at my ease. He reviewed my case history with me and gave me as much time as I needed. He was kind and explained the results of my scan in terms that I could understand. I came away from the consultation very comforted and reassured.

Always been a pleasant experience when I have seen Mr Ahmed. He is a very good listener and has great empathetic skills. Great surgeon and I am happy with results of my surgery. He makes you feel comfortable and gives his honest professional opinion. He has always been very accommodating. I feel happy and confident with how my breast cancer has been managed.
I would highly recommend him to any patient.
